Breath is the first thing. It hovers in space : energy, presence, stillness; consciousness. Planets in orbit. Stardust floating. We are all made from stardust, the atoms of our bodies a vast and empty expanse; our physical structures divine shapes flourishing. Every body embodies duality: yin with yang, coexisting and resilient - both masculine and feminine; that which yields and that which sustains. We go back to self, back to beyond our self, back to peace. We attune to and pass through one another. We dance as a single entity whilst maintaining our individuality. Breath. Softness. Oneness. Sight.

"I was transfixed ... an earthbound force driving the piece forward ... the choreographer exerts tight control over the visions she creates, while successfully coaxing authentic performances ... the composition by Indira Force (aka indi) suggests the shifting of consciousness."

Transit is able to reproduced / remounted with either the original or new cast.  The work is performed by ten dancers (originally three men and seven women), is 27-minutes long and would be suitable to be part of a double or triple bill.

Please contact me directly for any enquiries regarding programming or remounting the work.
